Criminal Minds season 11 is the eleventh installment of the long-running American crime procedural drama television series. This season premiered on CBS on September 30, 2015, and ended on May 4, 2016, with a total of 22 episodes. In this season, the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) is back with new and complex cases that test their limits and challenge their skills.
The season starts with the team mourning the loss of their colleague, Kate Callahan, who left the BAU to spend more time with her family. Afterward, the team is introduced to their newest member, SSA Dr. Tara Lewis, who is a forensic psychologist and a seasoned interviewer.
