The criminals' motive is to steal a valuable flash drive, which has confidential information about their criminal activities.
Will, being a former FBI agent, knows he has to act quickly to save his family. He uses his intelligence and expertise to enter the building and make his way up to the 225th floor, where his family is trapped.
