Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is the third instalment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film was released in 2007 and starred Johnny Depp as the iconic character Jack Sparrow, along with Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom. The film opens with the East India Trading Company led by Lord Cutler Beckett capturing pirate ships and hanging their captains.
