Ghost in the Shell, directed by Rupert Sanders, is a science fiction action film released in 2017. The movie is set in the near future where humanity has the ability to enhance their bodies with cybernetic implants. Major Mira Killian, played by Scarlett Johansson, is the first of her kind, a human saved from a terrible crash and cyber-enhanced to be a perfect soldier devoted to stopping the world's most dangerous criminals.
